Critical Grade Chamber Type Spark Arresting: Model MSA22 Expected Attenuation is 25 to 32 dBA Use a model MSA22 in residential areas where background noise is present but not objectionable and a spark arresting feature is desired. In these areas, installation of an MSA22 on an engine exhaust is intended to bring the noise level down to match the ambient noise levels. Example: In quieter residential areas away from main traffic and constant noise sources.
