Vent and Blowdown Silencers
The Maxim VT series silencers are designed to attenuate high frequency noise associated with venting of high pressure air, gas or steam into the atmosphere. These ruggedly designed silencers feature all welded construction with concentric acoustically packed panels.
Silencer Models
VTS	Vent silencer for relatively small gas flow rates. Expected attenuation is 35 to 40 dBA.
VT1	Good vent silencer for controlling noise generated by pressurized gases released to atmospheric pressure. Expected attenuation is 35 to 40 dBA.
VT2	Better vent silencer for controlling noise generated by pressurized gases released to atmospheric pressure. Expected attenuation is 42 to 45 dBA.
VT3	Best vent silencer for controlling noise generated by pressurized gases released to atmospheric pressure. Expected attenuation is 50 to 55 dBA.
